Scholarship Description:
Readmit undergrad students with at least 27 quarter credits completed are eligible for $500/course completion scholarship if they enroll in a Strayer University undergraduate program in the winter 2020 quarter. The $500 course credit will be applied to all courses until the student starts to use their Graduation Fund.
 
Eligibility Requirements:

  • Student must have at least 27 quarter credits (or credits equivalent to 6 classes) completed at or transferred into Strayer University.
  • Unofficial transcripts can be used for eligibility, but official transcripts are required to award the scholarship.
  • The scholarship discounts will start in the term the official transcripts are received and evaluated.
  • Readmit student registering for the winter 2020 term for any Strayer University Undergraduate program. This scholarship does not include Degrees@work, or Verizon Onsite. In all cases, the scholarship is granted in Stayer’s sole discretion.
  • Student, any immediate family member of the student, or household member of the student may not be currently employed by the university, the university’s parent company, or any other subsidiary of the parent company.
  • Student must complete a course in the winter 2020 term.
  • Student must meet all Strayer University admissions requirements by program.
  • This scholarship may be combined with the Graduation Fund, but cannot be combined with any other scholarship/tuition discount.
  • Scholarship will be applied as a disbursement of $500 per course, as long as the student remains in attendance, until they reach Graduation Fund credits.
  • Student must maintain good academic standing (GPA 2.0 or greater). In any quarter following the quarter where a student fails to maintain good academic standing, disbursements will be cancelled until the student returns to good academic standing.
  • Student must be in good financial standing with the university ($0 past due balance).
  • Students must not take off more than two (2) consecutive terms in order for subsequent installments of the scholarship to be awarded. In the event the student loses eligibility, they will not regain eligibility upon readmittance.
  • No refunds will be issued on unused scholarship dollars.
  • Scholarship applies to course tuition only, all other books and fees must be paid with a separate method of payment.
  • For students whose tuition is billed to an employer or sponsor, the scholarship is applied first to tuition charges and then the sponsor is billed the net tuition amount (to the extent tuition benefits are available).

Scholarship Description: New and readmit students entering a master’s program (minus JWMI) are eligible for a $3,000 scholarship, disbursing in a student’s third, fourth, and fifth quarters. A scholarship for the Jack Welch MBA program is offered through the John F. Welch Scholarship.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a new or readmit student registering in winter 2020 term for any eligible Strayer University graduate program. This scholarship does not include Degrees@work, or Verizon Onsite. In all cases, the scholarship is at Stayer’s discretion.
  • Student, any immediate family member of the student, or household member of the student may not be currently employed by the university, the university’s parent company, or any other subsidiary of the parent company.
  • Student must complete a course in the winter 2020 term.
  • Student must meet all Strayer University admissions requirements by program.
  • This scholarship may be combined with the 2020 Referral Scholarship, but cannot be combined with any other scholarships/tuition discounts.
  • Scholarship will be applied to the student’s account in three equal disbursements of $1,000 during the students third, fourth, and fifth quarters after starting their coursework in the program. If a student does not complete a course during a quarter where the scholarship is disbursed, the student forfeits that disbursement.
  • No refund will be issued on unused scholarship amounts.
  • Student must maintain good academic standing (GPA 3.0 or greater). In any quarter following the quarter where a student fails to maintain good academic standing, disbursements will be forfeited until the student returns to good academic standing.

Scholarship Description: Bachelor's alumni students entering a master’s program are eligible for a $4,000 scholarship; disbursing at $1,000 per term in a student’s third, fourth, fifth, and sixth quarters. A bachelor’s alumni is defined as a student who graduates from a Strayer University bachelor’s degree program.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a new student registering for the Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall 2020 terms for any eligible Strayer University program. This scholarship does not include NYCDA, Degrees@work, or Verizon Onsite. In all cases, the scholarship is at Strayer’s discretion.
  • Student, any immediate family member of the student, or household member of the student may not be currently employed by the University, the University’s parent company, or any other subsidiary of the parent company.
  • Student must enroll, post attendance, and complete their first course to remain eligible.
  • Student must meet All Strayer University admissions requirements by program.
  • This scholarship may be combined with the Graduation Fund and the 2020 Referral Scholarship, but cannot be combined with any other scholarships/tuition discounts.
  • Scholarship will be applied as 4 disbursements of $1,000 during the student's third, fourth, fifth, and sixth quarters, as long as the student remains in attendance.
  • If a student does not take courses in the quarter of a scholarship disbursement, they forfeit the scholarship for the term.
  • No refund will be issued on unused scholarship amounts.
  • Student must be in good academic standing (GPA 3.0 or greater).
  • Student must be in good financial standing with the University ($0 past due balance).

Graduation fund

  1. Does not include books or fees.
  2. Developmental courses (08X/090/091), transfer credits, courses completed prior to readmission, and courses passed by placement exam are excluded from this program and do not count toward earning tuition awards. Fund must be redeemed for the final courses leading to a bachelor’s degree. Successful completion means earning the grade required by the curriculum as outlined in the Strayer University Catalog.
  3. Only new or readmit students enrolling in undergraduate programs (non-degree, undergraduate certificate, undergraduate diploma, associate or bachelor’s program) are eligible for savings. Some groups of students may not be eligible including, but not limited to: students eligible for Supplemental Assistance Scholarship, students eligible for Experienced Student Completion Scholarship, full time Strayer University employees and their dependents, students eligible for the Law Enforcement Tuition Assistance Program, students enrolled in the Complete@Strayer Community College program, and students attending one of the Degrees@Work campuses.
  4. RN to BSN students are only eligible for the graduation fund beginning the Spring 2018 quarter. Credits completed prior to the Spring 2018 quarter by RN to BSN students are not eligible to receive graduation fund credit.
  5. Tuition credit is earned only after successfully completing courses and could be lost if you do not take courses for two consecutive quarters.
  6. Students already receiving scholarship aid from Strayer University may not eligible.
  7. Students receiving tuition assistance from their employer through agreements with Strayer University may not be eligible.

In all cases, the scholarship is offered at Strayer’s discretion and is subject to change.
